Group Remuneration & Staff Cost Manager

We are looking for somebody, who loves numbers, Excel and is open to automatization. 

The Group Remuneration & Staff Cost Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all remuneration, staff costs, and HR reporting processes are accurate, consistent, and in compliance with internal policies as well as legal requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes, compensation and benefits, and cost accounting principles. 

What would be your key activities?

  • Remuneration 
    • Develop and implement compensation strategies and policies in line with the company’s overall objectives and budget
    • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure that the company’s compensation and benefits package remains competitive
    • Administer the company’s compensation and benefits programs, including base salaries, bonuses, equity awards and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and time-off
    • Ensure that the company’s compensation and benefits programs comply with legal requirements and internal policies

 

  • Reporting
    • Design and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide insight into key HR metrics, such as headcount, turnover, and employee engagement
    • Analyze HR data and provide recommendations for improvements in HR processes, policies and programs 
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of HR data and reports, and that they are produced on time
    • Collaborate with HR and other departments, mainly Finance, to implement data-driven HR initiatives that improve the employee experience 
    • Ensure processes are automated 

 

  • Staff Cost Controlling
    • Develop and maintain a system for tracking and controlling staff costs, including salaries, benefits, or a related field
    • Monitor and report on staff cost trends, including headcount, payroll costs, and other HR expenses 
    • Analyze and recommend changes to HR policies and programs that will improve cost efficiency and reduce HR-related expenses
    • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure that HR expenses are accurately reflected in the company’s financial statements

What do you need to succeed in the role?

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
    • At least 5 years of experience in HR, compensation & benefits, or a related field
    • Strong knowledge of compensation & benefits administration, HR reporting, and cost accounting principles
    • Experience with HR analytics, data visualization, and reporting
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
    • Strong organizational and project management skills 
    • Courage for out of the box solutions. Being open-minded, honest, and transparent. 
    • Digital “I can learn it all” mindset and knowledge of technologies relevant for organizing projects
    • Advanced written and spoken English
