“I want to express thanks to Jan for all that he has done for our Foundation in the past years. Through his perseverance and a host of ideas, he has profoundly influenced The Kellner Family Foundation’s development and direction. I wish him every success in his future professional and personal life, and look forward to working with Petra Dobešová, who is bringing new energy and extensive experience with project management into our Foundation,” Renáta Kellnerová, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, The Kellner Family Foundation, commented on the personnel changes at the Foundation.
Petra Dobešová has extensive experience with project management at companies in the Czech Republic and abroad. She has also focused on educational issues in recent years. In April 2016, Petra joined PPF a.s. with responsibility for educational projects. Since March 2017, she has been serving as the company director of OPEN GATE – gymnázium a základní škola s.r.o. Before that, she spent seven years at SOTIO, a biotechnology company, initially in charge of the development of superclean laboratories and serving on the Management Board. Once the laboratories started operation she headed the team responsible for the production of the tested medicines, logistics, and the introduction of the rules for good manufacturing practices. She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, specialising in finance and international trade.
Jan Leiner has been with The Kellner Family Foundation since its establishment in 2009, and is leaving it after more than 11 years. Serving on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Jan Leiner has greatly contributed to the formation and strong development of the Helping Schools Succeed project for public primary schools. The merger of two family foundations, when in 2010 The Kellner Family Foundation took over the educational projects run by the Educa Foundation, was also successfully executed under his management.
