PPF Group is accelerating its shift towards an AI-driven, integrated ecosystem model, building on platforms developed across its core businesses in recent years. As part of this next phase, Jindřich Fremuth has been appointed as Chief AI Transformation Officer, effective September 1, 2026. He will be succeeded at O2 Czech Republic as CEO by Richard Siebenstich.

Jindřich Fremuth will join PPF headquarters to drive the deployment of AI across the Group and lead the further development of Unity, its cross-sector ecosystem spanning telecommunications, media and financial services.

“We are entering a new phase where artificial intelligence will play a central role in accelerating PPF’s transformation. Building on the strong foundations we have established in recent years, AI will enable us to scale our platforms, enhance customer experience and unlock new sources of growth. Our strategy has been to build leading platforms across telecommunications, media and financial services. With initiatives such as Unity and Oneplay already in place, we are now focused on accelerating development of all our companies through AI. We are pleased that Jindřich Fremuth will lead this effort at the Group level,” said Co-CEOs of PPF Group Kateřina Jirásková and Didier Stoessel.

Jindřich Fremuth joins PPF after nine years of leading O2 Czech Republic as CEO, where he drove a transformation of the business towards a data-driven operating model and the large-scale adoption of AI. Under his leadership, AI became embedded both in customer interactions and internal processes, with automated solutions deployed across customer care, marketing, sales and operational workflows. Over the past nine years, O2 has consistently delivered above-market growth, with EBITDA rising by more than 50% since 2016, while evolving into a technology company with a strong position across telecommunications, digital services and the broader PPF ecosystem. Before joining O2 in 2009, Jindřich Fremuth worked as a technology consultant at McKinsey & Company.

“AI has been my passion and focus for the last few years, and I am excited to contribute to this next phase of PPF’s development. The Group is full of talent and has already built strong foundations in data, platforms and ecosystem collaboration. Artificial intelligence now provides a powerful opportunity to accelerate this transformation and unlock further growth,” said Jindřich Fremuth.

Jindřich Fremuth will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors of O2 Czech Republic and will support a smooth transition.
