Portfolio managers Michal Semotan and Patrik Hudec, who are among the most experienced professionals in the Czech capital market, are responsible for Arvum’s investment strategy and fund portfolio management.
“We want to build an investment company that offers clients transparent investment solutions based on active management and long-term value creation. It is equally important to us that clients know who is managing their funds and what principles guide investment decisions,” said Michal Semotan, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Arvum.
Arvum combines PPF Group’s investment experience and that of its portfolio managers with Air Bank’s digital environment and PPF banka’s asset management expertise.
“We believe in active investment management and decision-making based on portfolio managers’ experience, thorough market analysis and disciplined risk management. We aim to identify long-term investment opportunities across markets and asset classes and provide clients with solutions aligned with their investment goals,” said Patrik Hudec, a member of Arvum’s Board of Directors.
The CNB license marks an important milestone in the development of PPF Group’s new investment company. It is required for the approval of individual investment funds and their subsequent market launch.
Arvum will gradually introduce funds tailored to clients’ various investment objectives and risk profiles. The company will provide details of the funds it plans to offer in the coming months.
The name Arvum is derived from the Latin term for arable land and fertile fields. It reflects a long-term approach to building value.
