PPF Group a.s. (“PPF” or “the Group”) reported a 157% year-on-year increase in net profit to 834 million euros in the first half of 2026. The result reflected performance across all the Group’s main business areas, including telecommunications, media, financial services, real estate and e-commerce. Škoda Group also made a positive contribution, reporting record profit.
The Group’s equity stood at 12.6 billion euros as of 30 June 2026, up from 11.8 billion euros at the end of 2025. Total assets stood at 42.1 billion euros at the end of June. Total operating income increased 28% year-on-year to 2.35 billion euros.
“PPF entered 2026 with a clear objective: to continue developing its core business areas while maintaining a strong financial position. The first-half results confirm the benefits of our diversified portfolio and the Group’s long-term investment strategy,” said Kateřina Jirásková, co-CEO of PPF Group.
The report on PPF’s first-half financial results is the first since the Group completed the relocation of its registered office from the Netherlands to the Czech Republic, effective 1 April.
“Our companies’ profitability and solid operating results give PPF the financial flexibility and strength for its further organic growth. They also provide a foundation for capitalizing on attractive investment opportunities in the future,” said Didier Stoessel, co-CEO of PPF Group.
Telecommunications and financial services made the largest contributions to the Group’s results, although its other businesses also performed well:
- EBITDA in the telecommunications segment rose to 1.12 billion euros from 1 billion euros in the same period last year, helped in part by strong results in the Czech Republic and other markets.
- Net profit in the financial services segment rose almost fivefold year-on-year to 301 million euros, reflecting the benefits of PPF’s strategic focus on European markets.
- PPF’s real estate segment reported a net profit of 75 million euros, supported by proceeds from the sale of a stake in a London hotel property, favorable revaluations and the operating performance of assets now concentrated entirely in Europe and the United States.
- The media segment reported OIBDA of 140 million euros, compared with 139 million euros in the first half of 2025, while continuing to invest in its own content production and digitalization.
- Higher order volumes helped Škoda Group achieve record results, with the engineering segment as a whole reporting a net profit of 60 million euros, up from 5 million euros last year.
During the first half of 2026 and the following months, PPF Group continued to optimize its portfolio and strengthen its governing bodies.
One of the most significant transactions was the takeover of InPost, a leading European provider of e-commerce logistics services, completed in October by a consortium comprising FedEx, Advent International, A&R Investments and PPF Group. PPF holds a 10% stake in the consortium.
During the summer, PPF also entered a strategic partnership with Live Nation to jointly operate three major multi-purpose venues in the Czech Republic: O2 arena, O2 universum and Forum Karlín.
The Group continued to expand its portfolio of real estate projects in Prague and reached an agreement to sell its assets in the marine leisure sector.
On 1 October 2026, PPF expanded its board of directors to include Jindřich Fremuth, who took on the newly created role of Chief AI Transformation Officer.
