    Ivo Nesrovnal becomes a new member of PPF’s top management team

    Ivo Nesrovnal, LL.M. has become the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PPF a.s. as well as a member of the Group’s top management team, where he serves as Chief of External Affairs. With his many years of experience in international, legal, socio-political and business affairs, Ivo Nesrovnal will primarily lead PPF’s international relations in the Western markets where the Group operates. Previously, he has worked with the Group on several projects as a lawyer and as a member of the Board of Directors of PPF investiční holding.

    Ivo Nesrovnal, LL.M.

    Ivo Nesrovnal graduated from the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava in 1986. He then continued his studies in Germany, France and the US (The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.). Having completed his studies, he worked as a post-graduate at the Slovak Academy of Sciences’ Institute of State and Law. In the 1990s, he worked as a lawyer in President Václav Havel’s office in Prague. Prior to entering the political arena, he co-managed the local branch of the renowned international law firm Gleiss Lutz Rechtsanwälte for the Czech and Slovak Republics for thirteen years, focusing primarily on international transactions, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, EU law, protection of competition. He is a member of both the Slovak Bar Association and the Czech Bar Association. He was first independent directly elected Mayor of Bratislava in 2014–2018.
