In science and in business, we are creating new standards for the use of AI that accord with human values.

Education

We are concerned about the constant relativisation of values, manipulation of public opinion in the form of fake news and unequal access to education. The ability to orientate yourself in the world, verify information and interpret it correctly is the basis of freedom for every human being.

The world we live in is shaped largely by information technology which is often based on AI algorithms. Education is the only way to avoid getting lost in such a world and to see beyond the boundaries of your own social bubble.

Therefore, we are working in cooperation with O2’s “Chytrá škola” [Smart School] project, teaching the public about artificial intelligence, and we are starting to develop an application for spotting fake news with the help of AI. The app is being developed with the involvement of high school students, for whom Dataclair is providing the necessary technical resources and specialised mentoring.

Ethical AI is the only possible route down which AI can go. AI has the potential to improve quality of life enormously, but the misuse of this technology could have catastrophic consequences.

Fair algorithms

Every time we develop a new algorithm that advances our clients’ business well beyond their competitors, we monitor the impact of our solution on people in the real world. Our algorithms are fair, and the data we use is always anonymous.

We protect privacy

Our products and solutions are sought after for their huge informative and predictive value based on the exploitation of Big Data. This data is always anonymised, aggregated and collected only with the customer’s consent and in accordance with the GDPR.

At the same time, we are developing techniques for generating synthetic data which will largely replace personal data. In the long run, this is the only sustainable way to protect people’s privacy.
