PPF Group is the 7th biggest taxpayer in the Czech Republic

In 2018, Czech companies in PPF Group paid a total of CZK 2.6 billion in income taxes to the Czech public purse. O2 Czech Republic is ranked 14th (on the Czech Ministry of Finance’s chart of the Top 20 corporate income taxpayers for 2018. Česká telekomunikační infrastruktura (CETIN), Škoda Transportation and PPF banka are also all large taxpayers. In total, PPF Group is the Czech Republic's 7th biggest taxpayer.

PPF Group is also a major employer in the Czech Republic. At the end of 2018, Czech companies in which PPF Group held majority interests employed approximately 14,000 people, for whom they paid CZK 3.6 billion to the State in social security and health insurance. Thus, companies with PPF Group’s majority interests sent CZK 6.2 billion to the State in income tax and labour-related payments.

Czech companies in PPF Group include, for example, PPF a.s., Home Credit International, SOTIO, PPF Real Estate, and Škoda Transportation. These companies coordinate PPF’s operations in 23 countries spanning three continents. In the Czech Republic, PPF Group also holds majority interests in companies including PPF banka, Air Bank, CETIN, O2 Czech Republic, Bestsport and others. The overwhelming majority of their employees are highly skilled experts in their respective fields.
