Jiří Šmejc is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague, with a specialization in Mathematical Economics and Information Technology. In 1992, Jiří set up the IT company PUPP Consulting and also began investing on capital markets. In 1995, he established Middle Europe Finance, a securities trading company specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Until the end of 2004, he owned a 34% stake in TV NOVA Group. He joined PPF Group in 2004 and became a shareholder in 2005. Among other positions, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Generali PPF Holding.
Jiří Šmejc oversaw Home Credit’s Russian operations and all of PPF Group’s activities in the Russian Federation, including Nomos Bank and the Eldorado retail chain. In August 2012, he set up his own investment group EMMA Capital, where he is the majority shareholder. In the same year, he and Petr Kellner agreed that Jiří would swap his 5% stake in PPF Group for 13% of Home Credit Group. Jiří has held numerous senior management positions in Home Credit, including the Group’s CEO from 2012 to 2018. In May 2022, he accepted an offer from Renáta Kellnerová and her family to take over the management of PPF Group.
PPF Group's Investment Committee is an essential governing body with executive decision-making powers. The committee performs a major role in evaluating the Group's key investments and investment opportunities.

Kateřina Jirásková graduated from the University of Economics, Prague, and worked as a securities trader at Conseq before joining PPF Group in 2000 as a portfolio manager. She was in charge of Generali PPF Asset Management for eight years, with responsibility for one of the largest portfolios in Central and Eastern Europe. She was also responsible for the performance of the portfolio of investments held by Generali PPF Holding’s 27 firms managing €15 billion in assets in 14 countries.
In 2013, she became the chief financial officer of PPF Group and chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PPF a.s. and she is a member of the Board of Directors of PPF Financial Holdings a.s. She also chairs PPF Foundation's Board of Trustees.

Didier Stoessel is the CEO of CME, one of the CEE’s largest media and entertainment company. The broadcaster runs 46 television channels, reaches 49 million viewers, and operates Voyo, a leader in streaming services. He has extensive strategic and senior management experience in investment banking, media, technology and previously worked for Modern Times Group, HSBC, and Merrill Lynch. Didier Stoessel was appointed Chief Investment Officer in April 2022 and is responsible for the delivery of PPF Group’s investment strategy.
Ondřej Frydrych graduated from Technical Universit of Liberec majoring in Control systems and consequently received MBA from RIT in Rochester, NY. His focus on technology lead to internet related positions in Kodak and eProductivity.com in the US. After returning to Czechia in 2001 he worked for IT consulting company Adastra Czech, rising in the ranks to leave the company in 2014 as CEO and managing partner of Adastra Business Consulting.
In 2014 was appointed CEO of Eldorado - the second largest network of electric appliance and household goods stores in the Russian Federation. Eldorado was a part of PPF Group portfolio at that time. In 2016 Ondřej started working for Home Credit Group where he is now CEO, Home Credit China.

A graduate of the University of Chicago (MBA) and the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, where he majored in Commercial Engineering. He was a managing partner at McKinsey Prague between 1999 and 2005, when he assumed leadership of McKinsey CIS and Central Europe, based in Moscow.
He was a PPF Group shareholder from 2010 until 2023. As PPF Group’s representative, he held a position of Board member with Polymetal International, also being a Strategy & IR Development Director, member of Supervisory Board, at Russia-based Nomos Bank.
J.-P. Duvieusart was a member of top-management at SOTIO, PPF Group’s biotechnology company, with focus on its Chinese and U.S. businesses. He is Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Home Credit N.V. where he served as CEO in 2020-2022. J.-P. Duvieusart was a Director of PPF Real Estate Holding B.V. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of PPF Financial Holdings a.s. since June 2021.

Balesh Sharma is the CEO of e&PPF Telecom Group and head of the PPF Group’s TMT operations since July 2022. He came to PPF after two decades at Vodafone, where he held senior management posts in several countries. He was the CEO of Vodafone India where he oversaw the merger of Vodafone and Idea, and lastly he was the Managing Director of Vodacom South Africa leading its transformation to a digital solutions company.

Petr Jirásko graduated from the University of Economics, Prague. Prior to graduating, he studied at the International College of Queensland in Brisbane for a year. During his university studies, he gained practical experience at Budějovický Budvar n.p., Investa Příbram a.s., Credit Lyonnais Bank Praha, a.s., and Tabák, a.s. In 1998, he started to work for Credit Lyonnais Bank Praha, a.s. Between 2000 and 2002, he worked at Komerční banka, a.s. ultimately as the Head of the Derivatives Desk.
He joined PPF Group in 2002; until 2004 he worked at PPF burzovní společnost a.s., and in April 2004 he switched to PPF banka a.s., starting out as the Managing Director of Financial Markets. He became the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of PPF banka a.s. in October 2013.

Ladislav Bartoníček graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He joined PPF investiční společnost a.s. in 1991 as executive director and received an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, in 1993. From 1996 to September 2006, he served as chief executive officer of insurer Česká pojišťovna a.s. In 2007, he was appointed CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Generali PPF Holding N.V. (GPH), one of the largest insurance groups in Central and Eastern Europe, which was established as a joint venture between PPF Group and Assicurazioni Generali. He held his CEO position at GPH until March 2013.
Ladislav Bartoníček was a shareholder of PPF Group from 1990s until 2023. From March 2014 to February 2018, he was CEO of SOTIO a.s., PPF Group’s biotechnology company and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOTIO Biotech B.V. In 2018 - 2022 he was responsible for the strategic management of the Group‘s telecommunications, media, and biotechnology investments. Ladislav Bartoníček was CEO of PPF Group N.V. from March 2021 until June 2022.

Born in 1964, Aleš Minx graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Economics of the University of Economics, Prague. Between 1987 and 1992, he worked at PAL a.s. as head of the Economics Department. He joined PPF in 1992 and was its CFO until June 2001 before becoming CEO of PPF a.s. from July 2001 to May 2005. He held the position of vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board of PPF a.s. until March 2007 and is now the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PPF Group N.V. He was also member of the Supervisory Board of O2 Czech Republic from July 2015 to October 2016.

Born in 1958, Rudolf graduated from Erasmus University in Rotterdam where he received a master's degree in management with a specialization in corporate finance. He has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and financial markets. He has held many top executive positions in the financial sector, including that of executive director for corporate finance and capital markets at MeesPierson N.V., director for corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions at Nuon, and managing director of Rabobank International.

Born in 1972, Jan Jansen holds an LL.M in Dutch Law from Universiteit Utrecht, specializing in economic, public, and business law. He also has two post-graduate qualifications in company and corporate law and employment law from the Grotius Academie (Nijmegen) and Vrije Universiteit Law Academy (Amsterdam), respectively.
He joined PPF Group in 2007 after spending three years at De Hoge Dennen Holding as legal counsel and corporate secretary for social investment funds and he held legal positions within various companies prior to that. He then worked as legal counsel and company secretary for PPF Group N.V. In 2012, he became vice-chairman of the Home Credit B.V. Board of Directors and from July 2015 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of PPF Group N. V.
Founder of the PPF Group
Born in 1964, Petr Kellner graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Economics at the University of Economics, Prague in 1986. He is one of PPF Group’s founders and was chairman of the Board of Directors of PPF a.s. from January 1998 until March 2007. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. from April 2007 until March 2013. Petr Kellner oversaw the group’s strategic development and its future direction. Petr Kellner tragically died in a helicopter crash in Alaska on March 28, 2021.
