Ivo Nesrovnal becomes a new member of PPF’s top management team
Ivo Nesrovnal, LL.M. has become the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PPF a.s. as well as a member of the Group’s top management team, where he serves as Chief of External Affairs. With his many years of experience in international, legal, socio-political and business affairs, Ivo Nesrovnal will primarily lead PPF’s international relations in the Western markets where the Group operates.

At the end of last year, PPF Group’s total assets reached EUR 48.6 billion and its net profit for 2019 exceeded EUR 1 billion.
PPF Group’s reaction to US Senator Marco Rubio’s letter to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and Attorney General William Barr, issued on 26th February 2020
We understand Senator Rubio’s interest in the matter. Unfortunately, in his letter, it would seem that he is relying on false information provided by Czech politician Pavel Fischer. In Senator Rubio’s letter, basic information is incorrect: for example, it is not true that CME operates on markets covering 90 million people; in reality, the number is less than half. It is also not true that PPF is propagating Huawei’s technology; the truth is that we inherited this technology as part of our acquisition of the Norwegian telco operator Telenor last year.

In 2018, Czech companies in PPF Group paid a total of CZK 2.6 billion in income taxes to the Czech public purse. O2 Czech Republic is ranked 14th (on the Czech Ministry of Finance’s chart of the Top 20 corporate income taxpayers for 2018. Česká telekomunikační infrastruktura (CETIN), Škoda Transportation and PPF banka are also all large taxpayers. In total, PPF Group is the Czech Republic's 7th biggest taxpayer.
