PPF’s telecommunications businesses in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Serbia provide reliable and accessible connectivity for individuals and companies, delivering trusted and secure digital experiences that foster an inclusive digital society.
Sustainability is integrated into operations and supply chains, alongside a focus on digital inclusion and employee wellbeing. PPF’s joint venture with e& Group unlocks new opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth.
In 2025, the Group stepped up investment in network expansion and digital technologies, while further intensifying efforts to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. CETIN Czech Republic achieved annual electricity savings of 15.6 GWh through efficiency upgrades, and e& PPF Telecom Group increased its share of renewable electricity to 50%, primarily through green energy purchases in Bulgaria and Serbia. With science-based decarbonisation targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), e& PPF Telecom Group achieved a CDP Leadership rating of A-.
Digital inclusion remains a core priority. The O2 Smart School programme trained 87,000 people in the Czech Republic, Yettel Bulgaria introduced a fully digital customer journey for faster, easier service access, and CETIN Hungary supported initiatives encouraging young women to pursue careers in STEM fields.
Circular economy initiatives aimed at keeping materials in use and reducing waste prevented 170 tonnes of e-waste from entering landfill, including 28 tonnes of devices collected through a recycling campaign run by Yettel Serbia. Responsible supply chain management was strengthened across all markets through a risk programme covering more than 5,000 suppliers. In 2025, 1,000 higher-risk suppliers completed self-assessments, resulting in around 600 follow-up actions.
The Group also continued to enhance data protection and cybersecurity. Yettel Hungary achieved NIS2 certification, while O2 Slovakia made further progress in the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence. Employee health, safety, and well-being remained a priority, reflected in CETIN Serbia attaining ISO 45001 certification.
