    PPF Life Insurance: focus on agent sales channel

    The amount of PPF Life Insurance gross written premiums through a network of agents increased by 28% in 2013

    PPF Life Insurance has published its results for 2013. Its gross written premiums amounted to 8.5 billion roubles and claim settlement totalled 811.2 million roubles.
    In line with its strategy, the company successfully continued operating in its priority and dynamically developing life insurance market: GWP for long-term products of life insurance for savings and pension totalled 2.3 billion roubles in 2013, which is 35% more than in 2012.
    The part of life insurance GWP for 2013 collected through a network of agents, which is the company’s primary sales channel, increased by 28% over 2012 to 1.5 billion roubles.
    PPF Life Insurance actively expanded into Russia´s regions, opening 13 new offices in 8 new regions in 2013.

    Vít Sedláček, Chairman of the Board of Directors, PPF Life Insurance, said: “Our company has not changed its target focus on developing the traditional life segment and increasing the share of business not associated with borrowers’ insurance. We will continue to grow in 2014 thanks to the dynamic regional expansion of our sales network and co-operation with broker companies, as well as with partner banks in non-credit insurance. To achieve these goals, we invest considerable resources in training and motivational programmes, develop our product range, deploy the latest technologies and improve service levels.”
